Gold Sustainability Award

We’re delighted to have been awarded a Gold Sustainability Award, after an inspection conducted prior to lockdown of our office and procedures.

The Office Sustainability Scheme looks at a range of measures that offices and individuals within teams can take to recognise sustainability, from conserving energy in the workplace, promoting healthy eating and recycling, to charity activities and volunteering days.

Hub South East achieved the highest possible award and you can see examples of some of our efforts in this case study. Other highlights include:

• When moving from No.51 Melville St to No.8, at least 80% of all furniture/office equipment was recycled or donated to other offices for reuse.
• Installation of an Electric Vehicle charging point.
• Bring Your Own Plant to work – most members of staff donated a plant to the office – improving the office environment for all.
• Health talks held for all staff in office.

We’re proud of our efforts to encourage a more sustainable way of working and will continue these and aim to identify and implement more actions in the future.
