The hub South East Scotland Programme involves local public sector organisations working collaboratively and in partnership with a private sector development partner SPACE in a new joint venture company, hub South East Scotland Limited.
Strategic Support Projects
Strategic Support Service projects support the hub Programme and development of the South East Territory by the Participants with hub South East Scotland and include:
- Initial Strategic Estates Planning Review - a high level review of the the Participants building assets to identify service overlaps between participants and create a ‘long list’ of potential opportunities for co-location and joint working. Selected geographical areas are to be further developed with more detailed studies.
- Circulation in Multiservice Facilities - a design study carried out for Architecture+Design Scotland to investigate the potential benefits and problems of different organisational/circulatory diagrams for primary care and integrated facilities. The project was carried out by hubco, with its Tier 1 designers led by JMArchitects and developed three comparable building layouts, using the same accommodation schedule but different standard organisational diagrams. It resulted in the publication by Architecture+Design Scotland of an advisory publication titled: Circulation in Multi Service Facilities - quick reference guide
