Strategic Support Projects

Strategic Support Service projects support the hub Programme and development of the South East Territory by the Participants with hub South East Scotland and include:

  • Initial Strategic Estates Planning Review - a high level review of the the Participants building assets to identify service overlaps between participants and create a ‘long list’ of potential opportunities for co-location and joint working. Selected geographical areas are to be further developed with more detailed studies.

  • Circulation in Multiservice Facilities - a design study carried out for Architecture+Design Scotland to investigate the potential benefits and problems of different organisational/circulatory diagrams for primary care and integrated facilities. The project was carried out by hubco, with its Tier 1 designers led by JMArchitects  and developed three comparable building layouts, using the same accommodation schedule but different standard organisational diagrams. It resulted in the publication by Architecture+Design Scotland of an advisory publication titled: Circulation in Multi Service Facilities - quick reference guide
