The Hub South East Scotland Programme involves local public sector organisations working collaboratively and in partnership with a private sector development partner, SPACE, in a joint venture company, Hub South East Scotland Limited.
Hub South East Scotland was created to facilitate a sustained programme of enhanced local service improvements through increasing joint service working and integration between Health Boards, Local Authorities, Community Planning Partnerships and the emergency service organisations.
The Hub South East Territory covers the Lothians and Borders and is one of five territories established in Scotland to deliver the Hub programme.
Hub South East Scotland is committed to providing partnership solutions that seek to address the current issues preventing the consistent delivery of joint working facilities.
Hub South East Scotland will regularly review the suitability of supply chain members to provide services in relation to each project taking into account the availability of resources and the ability to provide satisfactory performance management, continuous improvement and appropriate levels of service throughout the development and delivery of projects.
Hub South East Scotland will support training and apprenticeships through traditional apprenticeships, adult apprenticeships, technical and professional training targets will be set for the number of positions to be provided through each project in liaison with the Lead Participant.
